Green Registration:
Certain GeoKleen™ products have obtained certain green registrations by Agencies organized to test and certify products to ensure they meet certain environmental (green) standards. In addition, these registrations help provide consumers with confidence that  registered products meet certain food safety, health, and non-toxicity standards.

Environmental Choice - EcoLogo^™ Certification

The green designations GeoKleen has obtained are the EcoLogo^M, which belongs to the Government of Canada, and is a founding member of the Global EcoLabelling Network.  This program is stewarded by Terrachoice Environmental Marketing (www.terrachoice.com. EcoLogo^M is North America’s most widely recognized and respected multi-attribute environmental certification mark.  By certifying the environmental leaders in over 300 categories of products, EcoLogo^M assists buyers, both consumer and corporate, in finding the world’s most sustainable products. This designation process helps move the entire marketplace toward sustainability. The EcoLogo^M certification provides third-party verification and establishes credibility and confidence with purchasers.

NSF Registration
NSF International launched its voluntary Nonfood Compounds Registration Program in 1999, to re-introduce the previous authorization program administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Products eligible for NSF Registration include all compounds used in and around food establishments (nonfood compounds), such as disinfectants and lubricants, and those used for pre-processing of food proprietary substances, such as fruit and vegetable washing agents. NSF Registration assures inspection officials and end users that the manufacturers formulation and labels meet appropriate food safety regulations.

Serving manufacturers operating in 80 countries, the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) was founded in 1944 by Walter Snyder, Henry Vaughn and Nathan Sinai.  NSF is headquartered in Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA.  The NSF Mark is recognized for its value in international trade around the world and is respected by regulatory agencies at the local, state and federal levels.

The NSF Mark symbolizes the only third-party organization with over 50 years of commitment and service to the industry and the regulatory community.  When people see the Mark, they know the product has met the initial and continued stringent certification requirements of NSF, the premier, independent, not-for-profit organization for public health, safety and environmental quality standards and certification.

NSF’s services offer global recognition and exposure, with worldwide operations including all fifty states, US territories, and 60 other nations.  NSF also has partnerships with peer organizations in Canada, and Europe. Over 8,000 product manufacturers have come to depend on NSF for demonstrated compliance to recognized standards and to provide the uncompromised integrity necessary for global recognition and acceptance.
